Last weekend we packed up our wellies and headed to Venice!
We started our fabulous weekend with a water taxi ride to Venice, whizzing our way through the canals, getting a bit windswept, and of course – taking lots of photos!
Gondola rides and climbing (or taking the lift…) to the top of the bell tower were the plans for some, whilst the others marvelled at Italian delights, visited Doge’s Palace and shopped for Venetian masks.
And of course, Italian food – such as beautiful seafood dishes and delicious pizzas – were savoured with a glass of fizz or two!
We had an amazing time in this beautiful city.
