Take the stress out of the holiday season with the Loews Boston Hotel

by | Nov 20, 2017 | Press Releases

Pair a stress-free city break with some seriously local Massachusetts flavour

November 2017: Take the stress out of the holiday season with Loews Boston Hotel’s Stress Less Play More package and savor the true taste of this Massachusetts must-see, with the new Flavor Boston culinary concept which allows hotel guests a chance to experience authentically local flavours without even leaving the hotel.

The Stress Less, Play More package lets guests stay and play more in one of Loews Boston’s luxurious guestrooms with a bottle of wine upon check in, complimentary parking and a $50 American Express gift card to treat yourself this season! And to get a true taste of the city, Flavor Boston allows hotel guests the chance to sample some seriously local flavour:

  • Q’s Nuts: We’re talking about a local, undeniably Boston experience that can’t be found anywhere else. Found in the Boston Public Market, Q’s simple philosophy and wholesome ingredients create some of the best tasting roasts around. Some of our favourite recipes are the banana foster almonds, rosemary sea salted cashews, and chocolate lavender pecans which guests can sample by ordering the combo board in Loews Boston’s Precinct Kitchen & Bar. The combo board includes a mouth-watering selection of Vermont cheeses, charcuterie, seasonal jams, and, of course, Q’s Nuts.
  • Little g ice cream co: There is no doubt that little g ice cream is sprinkled with love. Loews Boston have partnered with one of the cities youngest culinary sensations, Grace Conner who spent her childhood creating sensational flavour combinations. We are obsessed with little g’s triple cookie dough and fudge brownie flavours which can be sampled as part of the Precinct Kitchen & Bar dessert menu.
  • Boston Harbor Distillery: Loews Boston know all about the craft beer movement — after all, the city itself has some real brewing knockouts. (Sam Adams, anyone?) But what you might not have known is that there is a new craft craze on its heels: distilling. Rhonda Kallman’s Boston Harbor Distillery is steeped in really cool Boston history. Its vast brick building was first built in 1859, and saw use as everything from a horseshoe factory to an ice-cream house. Many of the spirits produced by Boston Harbor Distillery are named for past occupants of the building. Putnam New England Rye Whiskey is named for Silas Putnam, the wily horseshoe manufacturer that supplied both sides in the Civil War. Light and Dark Lawley’s Small Batch Rums pay tribute to yacht maker George Lawley. And Seymour’s Boston Cream Liqueur and Seymour’s Local Roast Coffee Liqueur draw their titles from the Seymour Ice Cream Company. What better way to pay homage to our city’s heritage than to join forces with BHD to offer uniquely local cocktails, developed exclusively for Precinct Kitchen & Bar.
