Park Avenue Perks at Loews Regency New York

Loews Regency New York Hotel has launched Park Avenue Perks, a series of special seasonal offerings for guests at Midtown Manhattan’s landmark hotel.

 

The new programme offers patrons unique experiences during their stay, at the hotel and around New York City, that range from complimentary 60-Minute workouts in Central Park to free tickets to see top comedians at the famous Stand Up NY and free admission to a brand new art exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York.

Wednesday 60-Minute Workouts (April – June)

Fitness enthusiasts staying at the hotel can participate in a complimentary 60-minute workout in Central Park with Master Trainer Christine De Almeida. The workout begins at 6 a.m. and includes a dynamic warm-up, interval training and static stretches. Guests can call or visit the Concierge to book one of eight spots in the class.

 

Stand Up NY Comedy Club (April – June)

For an exclusive comedy experience, hotel guests can receive complimentary tickets to Stand Up NY, one of New York City’s premier comedy clubs. The venues star-studded comedic performances include Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Amy Schumer. Guests can call or visit the Concierge for ticket options.

 

Park Avenue Performances (April – May)

Loews Regency New York will continue its Park Avenue Performances Friday Night Music Series. Notable Jazz trumpeter and vocalist, Jumaane Smith, best known as Michael Buble’s lead trumpeter, will delight guests with an unforgettable performance. Starting at 6 p.m. every Friday at The Regency Bar & Grill, hotel guests and New Yorkers alike can relax to the smooth sounds of Jazz. Reservations are recommended.

Museum of the City of New York Exhibit (April – June)

Guests are invited to the recently launched exhibit, “New York’s Yiddish Theater: From Bowery to Broadway” at the Museum of the City of New York. This unique exhibit is an immersive reimaging of the phenomenon that turned Second Avenue into “Yiddish Broadway” and left a legacy that continues to inform America today. Guests can call or visit the Concierge for tickets for complimentary admission to the Museum.

New York Society of Illustrators (May – June)

Those looking to practice their artistic skills can sign up for Sketch Night at the New York Society of Illustrators. Sketch Night is offered on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30-9:30 p.m. For $30, guests can enjoy an exclusive package that includes live models, jazz performers, small plates, a glass of wine and all sketch supplies. For those who prefer to view artwork rather than create it, the hotel will offer an alternative option for $45 whereby guests can enjoy lunch in the Hall of Fame Dining Room from 12-3 p.m. and gain entry to the Galleries at the New York Society of Illustrators.
