Capital Region USA

Focusing on history and heritage, gardens and touring, the Capital Region includes Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland.  It’s a great region to explore, with lots to do and, although it’s a cliché, there really is something for everyone.

Three things we love about the Capital Region

1. The Smithsonian museums in Washington DC; the collections are immense and it’s free to get in.

2. Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia.  Step back in time to experience life in 18th century America, then nip over to Jamestown and learn all about the early life of the English settlers.

3. Eating crab cakes on the shores of St Michael, Maryland, watching the world float by on the Chesapeake Bay.
