27 August 2019: In an exciting development for Loews Hotels & Co, a brand-new and highly anticipated immersive destination has just opened in Arlington, Texas in the form of the first Live! By Loews hotel. The new $150 million, 14-storey flagship property is a multi-concept sports resort ideally positioned between the Texas Rangers’ new Globe Life Park and the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium. Its launch completes Texas Live!, one of the USA’s premier sports, entertainment and hospitality destinations.
Built in partnership with the Texas Rangers and developer The Cordish Companies, the hotel is the first luxury property of its kind in the United States, and provides guests an unprecedented upscale experience blending sports and entertainment with first-class hospitality and superior amenities, all within 10 minutes of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Its opening marks another step forward in making Arlington one of the country’s leading convention, entertainment and tourism destinations.
Featuring 300 guest rooms each with floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the neighbouring stadiums and skylines, the property offering also includes 23 luxury suites and an outdoor infinity pool with rentable private cabanas.
When hunger calls, there are five chef-curated food and beverage outlets to choose from, all masterminded by Executive Chef Mouhssine ‘Moose’ Benhamacht. Cut & Bourbon, the hotel’s stylish all-day steakhouse serves classics that never go out of style; River Market, a curated artisanal grab and go serving local food and beverages; SOAK, the hotel’s swim-up; Bar Bourbon, a 360-degree lobby lounge and bourbon hideaway serving an expansive list of well-known and hidden gem whiskey varietals complete with private bourbon lockers where guests can age their own selections; and Arlington Clover Club, an outdoor mixology lounge with sky-scraping ceilings, intricate water features and scenic views that serves craft cocktails and shareable bites.

For corporate, group and event travellers, the property’s two-storey Grand Event Centre accommodates up to 1,000 guests in a singular location over 35,000 square-feet of space. Its facilities include a Grand Ballroom, executive boardroom, five breakout meeting rooms, pre-function space and a 1,500-square foot rooftop terrace which has panoramic views of the Dallas/Fort Worth skylines, Johnson Creek and Texas Live! complex. In addition, the property is just blocks from the Arlington Convention Centre.
Texas Live! is home to the Texas Rangers’ new ballpark plus numerous dining, retail and nightlife options with the new Globe Life Field to open in Spring 2020.
