Washington, DC
The Line will open in one of DC’s most diverse neighbourhoods, Adams Morgan later this year. Located inside a 110-year old historic church, this 220-room hotel will offer guests diverse dining options from James Beard recognised chefs Erik Bruner-Yang (Maketto) and Spike Gjerde (Baltimore’s Woodberry Kitchen), a live broadcast radio station and a rooftop with sweeping views of the Washington Monument and Washington National Cathedral.

Bringing a trio of new properties to DC’s waterfront, The Wharf is a $2 billion waterfront project which will showcase the 278-room InterContinental Washington DC at The Wharf, the first Canopy by Hilton to open in North America, and Hyatt House with 237 guestrooms and residential-like suites. The Wharf development will also feature 20 restaurants, a distillery and three music venues with the first phase set to open in October 2017.

The Pod Hotel opened earlier this summer in DC’s vibrant urban centre – Penn Quarter – with its unique take on budget accommodations. Virginia

Recently opened in Norfolk is The Main, a mixed-use entertainment complex which features a 23-story luxury Hilton Hotel at the corner of Main and Granby streets. The Main is fully equipped with three new restaurant venues, including a 10,000 square feet modern rooftop beer garden with 100 beers on tap, as well as 50,000 square feet of meeting and learning spaces.

Historic Old Town Alexandria has its first waterfront hotel, Hotel Indigo. The new property adds to the bustling development of Alexandria’s riverfront district, which includes new restaurants and a water taxi service linking Alexandria to DC’s National Mall and Maryland’s National Harbor.

Maryland
Rejuvenating Fell’s Point Recreation Pier, dating from 1914, the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore Hotel recently opened its doors in Baltimore’s Fells Point.
