25th July 2016 – The Moose Hotel & Suites in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, has opened its doors for visitors this summer. The unique four-star property from the Banff Lodging Company is the first new hotel to open in Banff National Park in nine years. Featuring 174 air-conditioned rooms of one or two bedroom suites designed using warm, rich natural materials taking inspiration from the nearby mountains, with room rates from CAD349 (£200) per night.

Located steps from the heart of downtown Banff, the hotel has been designed to maximize the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. Amenities include the Meadow Spa & Pools with 10 treatment rooms and a private outdoor hot pool and relaxing lounge with stunning views of the Fairholme Mountain Range. The Rooftop Health Club offers yet more amazing views with two spectacular outdoor hot pools on the roof, as well as a bright indoor swimming pool, and a cosy sauna cabin.

Inside, fun artwork of hand-painted moose characters can be found throughout the property, produced by local artist, Jason Carter, one of Alberta’s most accomplished Aboriginal visual artists.

After a busy day exploring Banff and the National Park, guests can refuel at Pacini Italian Restaurant, offering all day dining featuring gourmet Italian food with unique and authentic flavours and a warm and friendly ambiance.

Banff is the highest town in Canada, close to Banff National Park (the first in Canada) with a plethora of summer and winter activities on offer including hiking, paddling and skiing, with 1,600km of trails, two gondolas, three ski areas and expansive wilderness. Following a long day on the slopes, visitors can take a dip in the soothing waters of the natural hot springs under the stars.
