Loews Hotel 1000’s newest dining options take Seattle guests on a culinary tour of the Pacific Northwest

Loews Hotel 1000 in Seattle has finalized its multi-million-dollar renovations, to its 120 guest rooms and public spaces with brand-new dining options taking guests on a culinary tour of the Pacific Northwest without needing to leave the hotel.

Inspired by Loews Hotels new hyper-local culinary concept, Flavor by Loews Hotels, new eatery All Water Seafood & Oyster Bar, the intimate Bell Lounge and an exclusive wine cellar are all influenced by Seattle’s sense of place on America’s wild Western coast.

Located on the site of what was a tackle & bait shop in 1936, All Water Seafood & Oyster Bar celebrates Seattle’s maritime industry, from the portraits of fishermen and articulated shelves to the fresh seafood from the Pacific Northwest. With Executive Chef Scott Mickelson at the helm, the menu reflects all aspects of Seattle’s famous waterfront market, Pike Place Market. Bell Lounge is the perfect retreat to relax fireside. Built in 1914, the Port of Seattle’s original Bell Street Pier. Find inspiration in the craftsmanship of the Meyer Wells wood bar that embodies the fusion of nature and culture found in the Pacific Northwest.

Paying homage to the rich history of its location in Seattle’s business and arts district, the redesign draws inspiration from the juxtaposition of Seattle’s hip urban centre and the beauty of nature that surrounds the city, bringing together the colours and materials of each unique landscape. Further highlights of the renovation include:

  • A new wine cellar – Featuring a variety of Washington wines to take guests through a tour of the Pacific Northwest, without having to leave the hotel.
  • Re-designed Lobby – The focal point of the lobby is a light fixture composed of over 250 hand-blown LED glass droplets that shimmer and reflect light throughout the space; an artistic representation of the rain in Seattle.
  • Renovated Guest Rooms – The palette is defined by the local landscape with soft greys, rich greens, and rose adding soft warmth to space.
  • Re-imagined Public Spaces – The meeting space and ballroom areas take inspiration from the rich coastline of the Puget Sound and ferry boats. The glass beaded wall covering that adorns the foyer is a glittering interpretation of the Sound waters on a clear sunny day.

“After a year in Seattle we are energized to continue our presence in the market with the comprehensive renovation at Loews Hotel 1000,” said Jonathan M.Tisch, Chairman and CEO, Loews Hotels & Co. “We are proud to combine the heritage and history of Loews Hotels, our recognized service culture and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with the reimagined look and feel of the hotel.”
