From a delightfully messy, Korean spiced Sloppy Joe to your favourite breakfast presented in a square, Loews Hotel and Resort’s new restaurants have it all.
Loews hotels in Washington D.C., Boston, Philadelphia and Los Angeles have recently opened new restaurants with creative menus showcasing familiar, comforting food and drinks with a twist. Offering dining experiences to remember, these new Loews restaurants are really creating innovative spins on meal time.
H2 Kitchen & Bar – Loews Hollywood
Loews Hollywood’s new restaurant specialises in taking familiar favourites and making them deliciously different. Order Eggs2 and you’ll be presented with just that – egg whites, dill and scallions moulded into a square. If a large, messy burger is more your thing, H2’s Bulgogi Joe’s – a take on the infamous Sloppy Joe – is a Korean inspired rib burger topped with cucumber kimchee. Guests can nestle in to the contemporary, relaxed vibe whilst they taste these inspired dishes: comfort foods created with a little extra zing.
Precinct Kitchen & Bar – Loews Boston
Boston is a historic but evolving city, so it is only natural that the new Precinct Kitchen & Bar reflects the local food and design and celebrates the city’s culture. Classic New England dishes are created with a twist, including delicious clambakes that are not only swimming with fish, but local kielbasa too. The open kitchen restaurant also has its own charcuterie section with cured meats from family owned farms, as well as hand-made syrups for cocktails such as the Old Fashioned, transformed with an infusion of cinnamon, walnut syrup and bourbon. Guests can relax and eat their fill in this restaurant that oozes comfort, with a rustic and casual setting.
Bank & Bourbon – Loews Philadelphia
Loews Philadelphia’s newest restaurant showcases the finest American whiskey, with its in-house barrel-aging programme providing guests with over 30 types of bourbon to choose from. A keen favourite is the Secret Knock – a punch made from house-aged whisky, green tea, lemon and clarified milk, with which guests wash down some mighty meals. Bank & Bourbon creates dishes made for the rowdiest of cowboys, including the whopping 32oz cowboy steak served with crispy fingerling potatoes, ‘large enough to feed a whole ranch’. The restaurant switches its menu each season, creating rustic yet modern meals from seasonal produce.
Rural Society – Loews Madison, Washington DC
Aptly named after La Exposición Rural, an annual agriculture and livestock show held in Buenos Aires, Rural Society is an Argentinean steakhouse that is set to get guests’ mouths watering. Inspired by the team’s travels to Argentina and Uruguay, this meaty restaurant presents an authentic take on South American cuisine. Guests see their meals cooked right in front of them, grilled on Argentinean wood, all the while sipping on drinks with a South American twist – a gin and tonic infused with yerba mate tea being a keen favourite. Loews Madison recommends the matahambre – beef tenderloin rolled and cooked with herby pesto, a real Argentinean treat in the heart of Washington DC.
