First Ever Key West Restaurant Month to Launch on 16 September

For the first time ever, Key West is set to hold its own restaurant month. From 16 September to 16 October, WineDine KeyWest will enable culinary connoisseurs to enjoy multicourse prix fixe meals at 30 restaurants on the sub-tropical Florida Keys island.

The culinary celebration was ‘cooked up’ by the team behind the popular annual Key West Food & Wine Festival to promote fine dining and showcase the flavours of Key West.

“Key West has some world-class restaurants,” said event co-creator Mark Certonio. “Our mission is to position the island as a dining destination and foodie paradise, and put a spotlight on all that it has to offer.”

The foodie festival will see 30 participating restaurants including the Conch Republic Seafood Company, Southernmost Beach Café and Spencer’s by the Sea offer three-course meals priced at approximately $20 per person (around £15) for lunch and $35 per person (around £27) for dinner.
Restaurants range from casual waterfront spots and trendy bistros to eateries specialising in fresh Florida Keys seafood and award-winning gourmet emporiums.
