David Ezra

David is the PR Director of KBC, having joined us in January 2013. David has spent most of his career in travel and tourism PR with another of the industry’s respected agencies, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of travel sectors, destinations and products. He’s represented leading international and domestic brands as diverse as the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Carnival Cruise Lines, Tourism Victoria (Melbourne, Australia), Kenya Airways and VisitGuernsey. At KBC David heads our PR team, taking an overview of all of the agency’s PR activity and acting as the front-line account handler for Discover New England.

David grew up in Wales and spent his academic career close to home, studying at Cardiff University twice and securing a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism (Media Relations) from the University’s prestigious Centre for Journalism Studies.

Since then it’s been a very different story. Whether it’s climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge, ballooning over Kenya’s Masai Mara or watching England win the 2003 Rugby World Cup in the company of 100 partying travel agents inNew Zealand, David has embraced the world of travel to the max. Just don’t ask him about the cruise ship launch at which he covered an Oscar-winning actress in champagne in front of the world’s media, earning her the name ‘Dame Judi Drench’.

David’s passion for travel is coupled with a strategic, pragmatic approach that is a huge asset to KBC. He believes that the travel industry should be inspiring, thought-provoking … but most of all, fun!

“Working with David Ezra is always a pleasure. Not only is he highly professional and full of ideas, he is also delightfully honest and never fails to make me laugh. You won’t get hyperbole and promises of a fancy lunch with David. Just facts, fun and, if you’re really lucky, a cup of tea and a Hobnob. I am so pleased he has joined the excellent team at KBC and look forward to many enlightening and entertaining conversations in the future..”
