The major travel trade show in the UK, World Travel Market, takes place each November at ExCeL in London. Many of our clients take booths at the show and it’s our job to create a full schedule of trade and media meetings for them over the three days. For some, we also organise special events, receptions on the booth and, more rarely these days, press conferences.

For one client last year, Loews Hotels, we coordinated meetings with leisure tour operators and corporate agents, providing full profile information to assist our client in their negotiations, resulting in new contracts using their new pricing system. After the show, we completed a full report showing follow up undertaken.

We also helped with the nitty-gritty of international travel and organised accommodation for attending delegates, transport to and from the show daily, and attended the Visit USA briefing on their behalf.

The highlight of Loews’ WTM activity was a bespoke cocktail party that we organised, sourcing the venue, managing the budget and invite list and creating goody bags for guests.
