kbc hosted freelance journalist Claire Dodd in South Dakota (26 September – 1 October 2018) to experience the annual Buffalo Roundup alongside some of the state’s iconic attractions and western towns.

The bespoke itinerary focussed on the annual Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup where Claire was able to get in the heart of the action amongst 1,300 stampeding bison – as cowboys and park rangers round up one of the country’s largest publicly owned bison herds.

Claire produced two features, online and in print for trade magazine TTG, sharing her unique experiences in the state, where she also visited locations such as; Mount Rushmore National Memorial, historic Deadwood, Crazy Horse Memorial and Badlands National Park.
