Whilst best known for the party town of Magaluf, the municipality of Calvia in Majorca is actually home to the most fantastic countryside. Pleasant year-round temperatures and superb trails and natural features combine to make this the ideal winter destination for walkers, cyclists and active holidaymakers. Our brief for this leading over 50s tour operator and cruise specialist was to ‘add sparkle’ to their PR plan, and help them reposition their brand to appeal to the new breed of fitter, more active over 50s. Highlights of our work included a stunning media event where we celebrated James Bond’s 50th birthday, (and thus his eligibility to take a Saga holiday), and the press and radio launch campaign for their new cruise ship, Saga Sapphire.

KBC worked with sunshine state Visit Florida for nine years , the most popular long-haul destination in the UK. Our work with this prestigious client brought us into contact with a wide range of media, allowing KBC to build an invaluable bank of contacts with the travel and national media. Highlights include highly successful TV promotions and several high profile press trips.
In 2008 KBC successfully completed a short term project with Todi Castle, generating coverage reaching an audience of over 12 million in just three months. TodiCastle is a privately owned, luxurious medieval castle set in the heart of the Italian countryside in Umbria. Highlights included a wide range of coverage including coverage in the Daily Telegraph, the Metro, and in the Ryanair in flight magazine.
KBC was approached by specialist walking holiday company, Follow The Camino, to work on a six month project to maximise press coverage around the May 2011 UK release of the Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez movie, The Way. KBC successfully created buzz and generated a wealth of coverage in national media. Highlights included coverage in the Guardian, The News of the World and the Daily Express.
KBC worked with Freedom Leisure for six years, a not-for-profit leisure trust operating 29 leisure centres across Kent and Sussex. Highlights included a new product launch, and KBC generated extensive broadcast, regional and national coverage.
