Jo Thomas

Jo started at KBC as Account Manager in August 2011, joining us from escorted tour operator, Titan Travel, where she worked as Senior Marketing and PR Executive for four years.  She has also worked at two other UK travel PR and Marketing agencies, representing a variety of leading international travel brands including Utah Travel Council, Grenada Board of Tourism, Oman Ministry of Tourism, Starwood Hotels and Resort, Quintas da Madeira, and Great Hotels of the World among others. At KBC, Jo is managing the PR accounts for the Florida Keys & Key West, the Capital Region USA, and Visit Calvia.

Jo’s passion for North America, where she studied at the University of South Carolina, and worldwide travel, provides her with specialist knowledge of travel destinations. Jo has a Professional Diploma in Tourism Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and  her strong background in PR for both representation agencies and a tour operator is a great asset to the KBC team.

Jo is a massive Dolly Parton fan!  She also loves films, football and travelling – her earliest travel memory is throwing teabags off a Boston Tea Party ship during a historical reenactment!

If I was heading up my own travel company, Jo Thomas would certainly be a key member of my team. She might be little, but she is dynamite.
